Todd Grisham was born on January 9, 1976, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and grew up in Alabama and Florida. He played soccer at Baldwin County High School before graduating from Orange Park High School in Florida. He then attended Wingate University before transferring to the University of West Georgia, where he earned a degree in communications. Grisham began his television career at KTVO in Ottumwa, Iowa, and spent about five years as a sportscaster at KOLD-TV in Tucson, Arizona.
He joined WWE in 2004, initially working as a backstage interviewer and host before moving into play-by-play commentary. He eventually called matches for ECW, SmackDown, WWE Superstars, and NXT, and shared a 2008 Slammy Award with Matt Striker. Grisham left WWE in 2011 and joined ESPN, where he anchored SportsCenter, hosted MMA Live, and presented Friday Night Fights.
He left ESPN in 2016 and joined the UFC broadcast team, handling studio hosting and play-by-play assignments through 2020. He subsequently expanded his combat-sports work with GLORY Kickboxing and DAZN, where he became a regular voice on boxing broadcasts. Currently, he is part of DAZN’s boxing talent roster and continues to call GLORY events, including the 2026 GLORY 107 card in Rotterdam.
