Restaurant Impossible: Last Call

Chef Aarón Sánchez and restaurateur Jen Agg have three days and $20,000 to rescue failing North American restaurants.

Restaurant Impossible: Last Call is an American restaurant makeover reality series that premiered on July 23, 2026, on Food Network. The show is a reimagined continuation of the Restaurant: Impossible franchise, introducing a new format and new hosts while preserving the original mission of helping struggling restaurants. Produced for Food Network, the series follows acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned Canadian restaurateur Jen Agg as they travel across North America to rescue businesses facing serious operational and financial challenges. Episodes are also available to stream on HBO Max the day after their television premiere.

Each episode follows Sánchez and Agg as they assess every aspect of a struggling restaurant. Sánchez focuses on the kitchen, menu, food quality, and culinary operations, while Agg evaluates the dining experience, business strategy, customer service, branding, and front-of-house management. Together, they identify the root causes behind each restaurant’s decline before implementing customized solutions designed for long-term success rather than temporary fixes.

Unlike the original Restaurant: Impossible, which centered on Robert Irvine leading rapid renovations, Restaurant Impossible: Last Call reflects the modern realities of the restaurant industry. The series addresses challenges such as rising food costs, labor shortages, changing consumer habits, online reviews, delivery services, and post-pandemic business pressures. By combining operational improvements with strategic planning, the show aims to prepare restaurants for sustainable growth in today’s competitive market.

Aarón Sánchez and Jen Agg serve as the program’s co-hosts and business mentors. Sánchez brings decades of experience as an award-winning chef, restaurateur, and television personality, Agg contributes her expertise as one of Canada’s most successful restaurateurs and hospitality entrepreneurs. Their complementary skills allow them to address both the culinary and business sides of each rescue, creating a balanced approach that distinguishes the series from its predecessor.
