Cocktail Wars is an unscripted mixology competition series that premiered on E! on August 18, 2026. The network debuted the show with two back-to-back episodes at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It marks E!’s newest addition to its unscripted programming slate, expanding the network’s competition offerings. The series is produced by Texas Crew Productions, Innovative Idea Productions, and R&D Media, with Russ McCarroll serving as showrunner.
Each of the ten episodes pits competing mixologists against each other in themed, fast-paced challenges. Contestants battle for a $10,000 cash prize on the line in every episode. Judging criteria include creativity, technique, and presentation, with an emphasis on personality and risk-taking over rigid precision. Icelandic Glacial serves as the season’s official water partner, supplying water used throughout the competition.
NSYNC bandmates Lance Bass and Joey Fatone serve as co-hosts, marking their first time working together in a hosting capacity. Expert mixologist Melissa Brooke joins them as a judge for every episode, evaluating each contestant’s technical execution. A rotating roster of celebrity guest judges also appears throughout the season, including Rachel Maddow, Lauren Graham, and Seth Green.
Cocktail Wars has also featured several other celebrity guests, including reality television personalities Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Melissa Gorga. WWE’s Braun Strowman and Drag Race alum Peppermint have also appeared as judges. Additionally, E!’s own Justin Sylvester, host of Live from E!, appears as a guest judge during the season. The mix of pop-culture figures and cocktail expertise reflects the show’s blend of competition and nostalgia.
