Kimmi Chex, born Kimberly Chexnayder in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American television host and sports media personality. She attended the Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, where she studied broadcast journalism and TV production. As a senior in high school, Chex also worked as a production assistant for ESPN, covering the Ohio State-Iowa game. 

She then attended the University of Iowa, where she pursued a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, while also earning a certificate in Critical Cultural Competence. After graduating in 2018, Chex joined the NFL through its prestigious Junior Rotational Program. She worked across several departments, including media development, marketing, event strategy, and digital content — experience that set her apart from traditional broadcast talent. 

Kimmi Chex joined NFL Network as an on-air talent in 2020 and has since become a familiar face on studio shows like NFL Total Access, NFL GameDay Morning, and NFL Fantasy Live. She also covers marquee NFL events, including the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, and Pro Bowl, combining energetic presentation with deep knowledge of the sport. Her work has been recognized by Forbes, The Athletic, and Front Office Sports, underscoring her impact as a rising star in sports media.
