Lindsay Rhodes was born in El Toro, California, and grew up with a strong passion for sports. She attended El Toro High School in Lake Forest, where she served as the yearbook’s sports editor, before earning a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California in 1998. She interned at both the USC Athletic Department and Fox Sports Net while still in college.
After graduating, Rhodes launched her career at ABC affiliate KVEW-TV in Yakima, Washington. She then moved to KKFX, a Fox affiliate in Santa Barbara, before joining FSN West full-time in 2003. There, she reported on the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, and USC and UCLA sports for six years, earning three Los Angeles area Emmy Awards in the process.
In 2008, Lindsay Rhodes joined NFL Network, where she became a fixture on NFL Total Access, the network’s flagship daily show. She hosted and reported on several other shows for more than a decade. In 2024, she joined SumerSports as co-host of The SumerSports Show, pairing with NFL executive Thomas Dimitroff to blend advanced analytics with expert football coverage. She also co-hosts the popular Fantasy Dirt podcast with Michael Fabiano in partnership with Sports Illustrated.
