NFL GameDay Morning

NFL Network’s flagship Sunday morning pregame show hosted by Rich Eisen, offering in-depth previews of the week’s NFL games.

NFL GameDay Morning is a pregame studio show that has aired on the NFL Network since 2008. It launched as a two-hour addition to the network’s NFL GameDay programming block, offering fans the first news of the day ahead of Sunday’s games. Spero Dedes hosted the show at launch, joined by analysts Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp, with Adam Schefter reporting from New York. Over time, the show grew into NFL Network’s signature Sunday morning program.

The show airs from 9 a.m. ET until 1 p.m. ET on NFL Sundays. It was built around going straight to the stadiums for the latest news, reports, and breaking stories from radio play-by-play announcers and analysts across all 32 NFL teams.

In recent seasons, host Rich Eisen has been joined each week by analysts Kurt Warner, Steve Mariucci, and Gerald McCoy, along with analytics expert Cynthia Frelund. Colleen Wolfe and insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo, and Tom Pelissero also appear regularly, with Daniel Jeremiah and Kyle Brandt contributing throughout the season.

Rich Eisen became the host of the program in 2010, taking over after signing a new long-term deal with NFL Network. Eisen had joined NFL Network as its first on-air talent in June 2003, months before the network’s launch that November. Steve Mariucci, a former head coach of the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions, has been part of the show’s analyst panel for many years. Another notable figure is Kurt Warner, a Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback.

NFL GameDay Morning went through an uncertain period in February 2026 after ESPN took control of the NFL Network. However, while appearing on an episode of The Dan Patrick Show, host Rich Eisen reassured fans that the program was still scheduled to air for the 2026 NFL season.
