Kass Naidoo was born on 12 January 1978 in Durban, South Africa. She is the daughter of Bugwathie (mother) and Sannasy Naidoo (father).
She attended Kingsmead School in Durban and later trained in journalism at the Durban University of Technology. She began her media career as a vacation reporter for the Mercury newspaper in 1996.
Naidoo worked in print, radio and television, including producing for John Robbie on 702. She made her television debut as an anchor and commentator for SABC during the 2003 Cricket World Cup.
She has since commentated for SABC, SuperSport and international events, and in July 2021 made her Sky Sports Cricket debut as host of The Hundred, alongside other pundits like Ian Ward, Zainab Abbas, and Nick Knight. She is a mother of three and lives in South Africa, balancing international work with family life.
