CBS Saturday Morning

CBS Saturday Morning premiered on CBS in 1997 under the title CBS News Saturday Morning. Launched to provide a dedicated weekend news block, the program has undergone several branding changes, including The Saturday Early Show and CBS This Morning Saturday.

It covers major national and international headlines, political developments, and breaking news while also offering long-form interviews and cultural segments. Like its weekday counterpart, it emphasizes thoughtful reporting and narrative-driven journalism. The show also incorporates live musical performances and extended conversations with authors, artists, and public figures.

CBS Saturday Mornings is co-hosted by Adriana Diaz and Kelly O’Grady. Diaz, a veteran correspondent who previously anchored the CBS Weekend News, brings extensive international reporting experience to the desk. O’Grady joined the team from the network’s MoneyWatch division, specializing in business and technology. The duo replaced long-time anchors Dana Jacobson and Michelle Miller, who departed the program in November 2025.

Throughout its run, the program has featured prominent journalists who have served as hosts, including Jeff Glor, who anchored from 2019 until 2024, and Anthony Mason, who helped define the show’s cultural focus during his long tenure. Other significant former anchors include Russ Mitchell, Susan Molinari, Erica Hill, and Chris Wragge. Today, the show continues to leverage a wide roster of CBS News correspondents to provide global perspectives on Saturday mornings.
