Anita Nneka Jones was born and raised in London, England, to a family of Nigerian heritage. She attended Haydon School before earning a First-Class Honours degree in European Studies with Spanish from King’s College London. She studied abroad in Barcelona during her degree, becoming fluent in Spanish with a working knowledge of Catalan.

Jones began her broadcasting career through the BBC’s Kick Off Trainee Sports Reporter scheme. She worked in local radio and television before becoming a regular presenter of Arsenal’s matchday show. She also co-presented the BBC’s Women’s Sports Show and later joined Sky News as a presenter. She began hosting Premier League Productions’ Fanzone show in September 2020.

Jones joined CBS Sports in 2023, providing weekly Premier League updates for Morning Footy and Box 2 Box across the network’s schedule. She soon became part of CBS’s flagship UEFA Champions League Today presenting team alongside established broadcasters. That panel includes fellow presenters Kate Scott, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards. In 2025, she hosted the UEFA Europa League Final for CBS and began reporting pitchside for UEFA Women’s Champions League Today.
