ESPNU is an American cable sports network centered on collegiate athletics. It was launched in 2005 to give college sports broader exposure beyond major national broadcasts. The channel, part of the ESPN ecosystem, is owned by ESP Inc., a joint venture that includes The Walt Disney Company, Hearst Communications, and the National Football League (NFL). 

The network’s programming strategy is built on the diversity of the American collegiate landscape, with live college events across multiple sports. ESPNU regularly airs NCAA football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, and ice hockey. It also covers other sports, including high school, NBA G League, the Olympics, and alternative sports such as collegiate soccer, cheerleading, gymnastics, wrestling, beach volleyball, track & field, and more.
