Tiffani Faison

Profile Overview

Tiffani Faison was born on August 20, 1977, in Bremerhaven, Germany, to American parents. She grew up moving frequently as a self-described “army brat” and began working in restaurants at 14, later training under various chefs including Daniel Boulud and Alain Ducasse. She then completed the culinary program at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in 2003.

Faison first reached a national audience in 2006 as runner-up on the debut season of Bravo’s Top Chef. She later returned for Top Chef All-Stars and Top Chef Duels. She also hosted the local shows Tiffani’s Taste and Food Truck Fridays on New England Cable News. In 2022, she won Tournament of Champions Season 3, a year after competing on the show as a contestant. She also served as the East Coast captain and mentor on Food Network’s Beachside Brawl, working alongside Antonia Lofaso and competing against Brooke Williamson’s West Coast team.

Tiffani Faison has judged Food Network’s Chopped since 2017 and later became a regular panelist on Guy’s Grocery Games. In 2025, she joined Tournament of Champions as a sideline floor reporter, interviewing chefs mid-battle for the judges. She has continued in that role through the show’s current season.
