Brooke Williamson was born on August 15, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, to two artist parents. She started working as a teenager, taking her first kitchen job at the Epicurean Institute of Los Angeles. She trained under chefs including Ken Frank and Michael McCarty, then staged at Daniel Boulud’s restaurant in New York. Williamson later became executive chef at Zax in Brentwood, where she met Nick Roberts, who later became her husband and business partner.

She gained widespread recognition after appearing on Top Chef: Seattle in 2013, where she was the runner-up. She later won Top Chef: Charleston in 2017. Then in 2020, she became the first-ever champion of Tournament of Champions and has continued competing on the show since. 

Williamson has been a Titan on Food Network’s Bobby’s Triple Threat since it premiered in 2022. She faces challenger chefs alongside fellow Titan Michael Voltaggio. In 2026, she moved from judge to mentor on BBQ Brawl after several seasons on the panel. She has also judged Guy’s Grocery Games, Chopped, and 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing.
