Keith Irizarry

Keith Irizarry is a Massapequa, New York-based sports broadcaster who studied audio and radio production at Hofstra University. He began professionally with Cablevision as a play-by-play announcer, host, and reporter. His early assignments included the Long Island Ducks, Rutgers women’s sports, Princeton athletics, Manhattan College basketball, and Stony Brook men’s basketball.

He later hosted weekend MLB previews for MLB.tv and became a prominent MSG Varsity broadcaster. Irizarry also anchored High School SportsDesk and called numerous high school games. His radio career has spanned several organizations, including SiriusXM, NBC Sports Radio, ESPN Radio (where he worked as a SportsCenter update anchor), and Yahoo! Sports Radio. 

Irizarry joined the national MLB and NHL broadcasting landscape as a host and play-by-play announcer. He currently hosts Bettor’s Eye on MLB Network and contributes to NHL Network programming and game coverage. He also serves as a sports journalism instructor and mentor through Hofstra University’s continuing education program.
