Jessica Creighton was brought up on a council estate in north-west London. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, joining the BBC in 2009.

She started out in Norwich, working on World News during the week and sport at weekends, before becoming an Olympic sports reporter in 2011. Creighton built her career at the BBC across BBC Sport, BBC Radio 5 Live, and the Women’s Football Show.

She reported from London 2012 and the 2016 Rio Olympics and anchored BBC One’s coverage of the 2018 Commonwealth Games from the Gold Coast. She later worked with BT Sport and TalkSPORT before joining Sky Sports News as a presenter in November 2018.

She now anchors Sky Sports News and hosts Sky Sports’ live EFL coverage, alongside stand-in presenting duties on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. She has covered the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and multiple men’s and women’s tournaments, and remains active as a corporate event host for brands including Google, Facebook, and Barclays.
