Adam Schein was born and raised in New City, New York, where he developed an early passion for sports broadcasting fueled by listening to WFAN radio hosts like Mike Francesa. He graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1999 with a degree in broadcast journalism. He then began his career at WHEN-AM Radio in Syracuse before moving to WFAN in New York.

Schein joined SiriusXM in 2004, eventually launching Schein on Sports on Mad Dog Sports Radio in 2013. He also built a television career at SportsNet New York from 2006 to 2015, co-hosting the debate show Loud Mouths. In 2012, he joined CBS Sports Network, where he hosted NFL Monday QB alongside Phil Simms, Rich Gannon, Trent Green, and Steve Beuerlein.

In 2015, Schein became host of Inside the NFL on Showtime, joining Phil Simms, Boomer Esiason, and Brandon Marshall.
