Time to Schein was a sports talk and analysis program that aired on CBS Sports Network. It premiered on the network on August 17, 2015, taking over the 6 p.m. ET timeslot previously held by The Jim Rome Show. It aired live Monday through Friday from New York City. The show gave host Adam Schein his own dedicated platform beyond his existing NFL programming duties.
Time to Schein tackled the broader sports world, covering the latest news, key figures, and social media trends in an unscripted format. Schein drew on his knowledge, experience, and contacts to deliver bold predictions and opinionated reactions. Each episode combined Schein’s commentary with guest interviews and a social media element. The format set it apart from his other, NFL-specific CBS Sports Network shows.
Adam Schein hosted the show for its entire run. By the time the show launched, Schein was already hosting NFL Monday QB and That Other Pregame Show for the network. He also continued hosting Schein on Sports weekdays on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio throughout the show’s run. His ability to balance multiple daily programs became a defining feature of his broadcasting career.
Time to Schein concluded after eight and a half years on the air, ending in February 2024. Schein has since moved into other roles, including a new digital sports video show for the New York Post that launched in March 2026. The show’s run marked one of the longest-tenured daily sports talk programs in CBS Sports Network’s history.
