Pilgrimage is a BBC Two documentary series that brings together well-known personalities from different faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds to undertake historic pilgrimage routes. Each series follows the group as they walk through spectacular landscapes, visit important religious and cultural sites, and learn about the history behind the routes.

Ingleby is an English actor known for television and film roles, and his measured narration complements the programme’s reflective tone while allowing the celebrity participants and their personal journeys to remain at the centre of the story.
