Celebrations with Lacey Chabert premiered on Hallmark+ on September 10, 2024, the same day the streaming platform officially launched. Chabert executive-produced the series alongside a team from UNConventional Entertainment, a Sony Pictures Television company. The series marked Hallmark Media’s first foray into unscripted programming, representing a significant shift for the traditionally scripted network. In January 2025, Hallmark officially renewed the series for a second season as part of a broader expanded partnership with Chabert.
Each episode follows Chabert as she surprises deserving individuals making a positive impact in their communities, throwing them a celebration of a lifetime. Working with professional party planners and volunteers, Chabert has just three days to create a magical, unforgettable event for each honoree. The show blends heartwarming personal stories with behind-the-scenes event planning. Season 1 featured 10 episodes, with new episodes released every Thursday on Hallmark+.
Season 2 of Celebrations with Lacey Chabert premiered September 15, 2025, on Hallmark Channel, with episodes also streaming on Hallmark+ the following day — a shift from Season 1’s streaming-only release. Chabert’s party-planning team, Lisa Friedman and Marisa Lainer, returned alongside her for the new season. Season 2 spotlighted eight new honorees connected to various organizations, including Las Fotos Project, Life Rolls On, and RaisingHOPE.
Lacey Chabert serves as the host of both seasons of the show. is one of Hallmark’s most prolific stars, having appeared in more than 40 Hallmark Channel films and earning the unofficial title of “Queen of Hallmark Christmas Movies.” Before her Hallmark career, she gained fame as Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls (2004) and as Claudia Salinger in the Fox drama Party of Five (1994–2000). In addition to Celebrations, Chabert starred in the Hallmark holiday film She’s Making a List in 2025.
