Jordan Cornette was born on March 31, 1983, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati before earning a full athletic scholarship to the University of Notre Dame to play basketball. He was a fixture on the Notre Dame men’s basketball team, appearing in 126 career games as a forward.
After college, he joined the Big Ten Network as a Notre Dame basketball color commentator, producer, and segment host. He also co-hosted Kap & Co. on ESPN 1000 in Chicago and served as a college basketball analyst for CBS Sports Network and Campus Insiders. In 2019, he joined ESPN, where he helped launch the ACC Network and hosted The Huddle and All ACC. He also appeared on ESPN programs like Get Up and First Take.
In 2023, Cornette joined NBC Sports as a college basketball analyst on Big Ten College Countdown. He also serves as a host and on-site reporter for Notre Dame football and Big Ten college football. He is also a courtside reporter for the NBA on NBC and Peacock, and was named a courtside reporter for NBC Sports’ WNBA coverage in April 2026.
