Heidi Klum is a German-American model, TV host, producer, and businesswoman who has been a major figure in the entertainment industry for over three decades. Born on 1 June 1973, Klum grew up in Cologne, West Germany. She started modeling at 18 and built a successful career, including being featured on the covers of several top magazines worldwide and working as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. 

Klum ventured into TV hosting in 2002, serving as host of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show; she also hosted the 2006-2009 editions. In 2004, she was announced as the host, judge, and executive producer of Project Runway, a role she held until she left the show in 2018 to host another fashion show, Making the Cut.  

In 2025, Klum returned to Project Runway as the show’s host. She also hosts Germany’s Next Top Model and served as a judge on America’s Got Talent till 2025. In addition to working as a TV host, Heidi Klum is also a successful actor, having appeared in several films and TV shows over the years. 

In her personal life, Klum became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2008. She has been married three times, most recently to Tom Kaulitz, a German musician and songwriter, and the lead guitarist of the rock band Tokio Hotel. She has four children, three from her second marriage to English singer-songwriter Seal, and one from an earlier relationship.
