Emma-Louise Amanshia is a presenter and journalist originally from London. She began her broadcasting career at the BBC, working behind the scenes at Radio 1 and 1Xtra (“pushing buttons,” as she has described it) before moving into presenting.

She hosted her own show, “Relax in Love,” on BBC Sounds and Radio 1 Relax, and has covered BBC Radio 1 Early Breakfast.

She joined BBC Newsround as a presenter around the start of 2024, broadcasting live from CBBC’s Salford studio and travelling around the UK to report on stories relevant to children and young people.

Alongside Newsround, she has hosted content for BBC Bitesize and BBC Teach, and produced factual/environmental reporting, including long-form content for WWF, the Eden Project, and the National Oceanography Centre. She also presents weekends and school holiday programming on Fun Kids Radio.
