Dani Charlotte Dyer was born on 8 August 1996 in the London Borough of Newham, the eldest child of actor Danny Dyer and Joanne Mas. She has a younger sister, Sunnie, and a younger brother, Arty. She attended Roding Valley High School in Loughton, Essex, and worked as a barmaid before pursuing television full-time.
She began appearing as a child extra in her father’s films from 2006, including Doghouse and Vendetta, before a brief stint on Survival of the Fittest in 2018 and, later that year, winning the fourth series of Love Island with Jack Fincham.
Since then she has co-presented MTV’s True Love or True Lies with her father and co-hosts their podcast, Sorted with the Dyers (also known as Live and Let Dyers). In 2026, she joined her father on the Sky One/NOW series The Dyers’ Caravan Park, helping him renovate and run Priory Hill caravan park in Leysdown, Kent.
She married West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen in 2025 and is mother to three children: a son, Santiago, from a previous relationship, and twin daughters, Star and Summer, with Bowen. The family lives in Essex.
