My Kitchen Rules

Celebrity duos host Hollywood dinner parties and compete head-to-head in a cooking competition judged by Curtis Stone and Cat Cora.

My Kitchen Rules is an American competitive cooking reality show, based on the original Australian format of the same name. The eight-episode series premiered on the FOX network in 2017. The American version departed from the original show’s format, featuring celebrity competitors rather than everyday home cooks.

The show pitted celebrity duos against each other as they cooked and critiqued each other’s food in Hollywood homes. Teams took turns hosting intimate dinner parties with menus designed to impress their competitors and professional chef judges. The lowest-scoring duo at the end of each round was eliminated. The final two teams faced a pressure-cooker finale in which they each prepared and presented their ultimate dining menus.

Celebrity competitors included TV host Lance Bass, R&B recording artists Brandy and Ray J, comedian Andrew Dice Clay, country star Naomi Judd, and reality TV star Brandi Glanville. The show also featured a rotating panel of guest judges, including Leah Remini and members of the Los Angeles Rams.

Curtis Stone and Cat Cora served as the hosts and permanent judges of My Kitchen Rules throughout its single season. Stone is an Australian chef, author, and restaurateur best known for hosting Top Chef Masters. Cora made history in 2005 as the first female Iron Chef on Iron Chef America and was the first woman inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame.
