Mission Unstoppable

Mission Unstoppable with Miranda Cosgrove premiered on CBS in 2019 and is part of the CBS WKND educational/informational programming block, which airs on weekend mornings. The series highlights remarkable women working at the forefront of STEM — from zoologists and engineers to astronauts and bioengineers — bringing their work and stories to a younger audience. 

Each episode of Mission Unstoppable takes a fast-paced, magazine-style approach to exploring the frontiers of science, technology, engineering, and math. The series aims to break gender stereotypes by providing young audiences with relatable role models who are solving global challenges through innovation.

The show is produced by Hearst Media Production Group in collaboration with Lyda Hill Philanthropies’ IF/THEN initiative, which focuses on increasing female representation in STEM. This partnership has allowed the show to access a vast network of professional ambassadors who share their expertise directly with the audience.

Miranda Cosgrove has served as host and executive producer of the show since itsinception, leveraging her platform to foster curiosity and excitement about learning. She is frequently joined by a team of traveling correspondents, including Fig O’Reilly, Erica Hernandez, and Nabeel Muscatwalla. Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis also serves as an executive producer. 

Mission Unstoppable has earned industry recognition for its impact. The show incorporates educational segments that break down complex scientific ideas, making them accessible and fun for young viewers.
