Will Kirk was born on 14 May 1985 in the United Kingdom. His parents are not publicly documented, though he has credited his grandfather as a major influence in developing his passion for woodworking.
He studied graphic design and later specialised in antique furniture restoration and conservation at the University of the Arts London and London Metropolitan University. After graduating in 2010, he gained experience internationally, including work in Italy, before establishing his own restoration workshop in London in 2012.
Kirk began appearing on television in 2013, but rose to prominence in 2017 when he joined The Repair Shop, a BBC programme airing on BBC Two and later BBC One. The show focuses on restoring sentimental heirlooms, where he serves as a furniture and wood specialist.
He has also appeared on programmes such as Morning Live (BBC One) and The Travelling Auctioneers (BBC One). In addition, he is associated with spin-off programming including The Repair Shop: On the Road.
Kirk lives in London with his family and continues to run his workshop alongside his television career.
