Tim Weeks was born in October 1982 in Chippenham, Wiltshire, England. Having developed an early interest in antiques and auctioneering, he pursued a career in the auction world.

Eventually, he became a director at Wessex Auction Rooms, where he established himself as a professional auctioneer and valuer.

Weeks transitioned into television through antiques-related programming, first appearing on Street Auction. His engaging style and expertise led to his involvement with Bargain Hunt, a long-running antiques programme broadcast on BBC One.

He joined Bargain Hunt as an expert around 2017, guiding contestants during auctions and fairs and becoming a regular face on the show.

Outside of television, Weeks continues to work in the antiques trade and auction industry, balancing his media career with his professional role.
