Tim Vincent was born Timothy Russell Walker on 4 November 1972 in Overton, Wrexham, Wales. Information about his parents is not widely documented in public sources. He first took to acting at Theatr Clwyd, a theatre near his hometown, and his very first television role was playing a teenager named Billy Ryan in the ITV drama series Children’s Ward.
After his A-levels, he was offered a place at Bournemouth University but deferred it for a year, during which he was offered the Blue Peter presenting job. On 16 December 1993, Vincent began presenting Blue Peter. During his time on the programme, he completed the New York Marathon and travelled to South Africa. He left Blue Peter on 24 January 1997.
From 2000 to 2001, he played veterinarian Adam Forrester in Emmerdale and appeared in the film Sorted with Tim Curry and Jason Donovan. He subsequently relocated to the United States, splitting his time between London and Los Angeles, working as a reporter on Access Hollywood for NBC and even reporting on the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie.
Tim and his partner Gemma Charles welcomed twin boys, Jasper Oliver and Felix Samuel, on 18 October 2018. He continues working as a TV presenter, splitting his time between London and Los Angeles.
