Thomas Forrester is a UK-based antiques expert and auctioneer, born in 1975. He developed an early interest in antiques, growing up around auctions and salesrooms, influenced in part by family exposure—particularly a grandmother who introduced him to the trade.

Forrester built his career in auctioneering, working in specialist departments dealing with ceramics, jewellery, and silver. He later co-founded Special Auction Services in 1991, establishing himself as a respected figure in the industry.

He transitioned into television in the 2000s, joining Bargain Hunt on BBC One as an expert around 2007, where he advises contestants at antiques fairs and auctions.

Outside television, he runs auction businesses and has expanded his interests by acquiring auction houses in the Midlands. He lives with his wife near the Shropshire border and remains active in antiques and charity auctions.
