Shaun Robinson

Profile Overview

Shaun Robinson is an Emmy Award-winning American television journalist, host, author, and philanthropist with over three decades of broadcasting experience. Born and raised in Michigan, she launched her broadcasting career at WGPR-TV in Detroit, the first African American-owned television station in the United States. She then built her résumé at various local stations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Austin, Texas; and Miami, Florida. 

In 1999, Robinson joined Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and correspondent, eventually rising to co-anchor — a role she held for 16 years through 2015. During her tenure, she covered the red carpets at various entertainment industry events and contributed reports to NBC news programs. In 2016, she became the host of the 90 Day Fiancé Tell All reunion specials on TLC.

Off-screen, Robinson is the founder and president of the S.H.A.U.N. Foundation for Girls, a nonprofit supporting girls in the areas of STEM, health, arts, unity, and neighborhoods. She is the author of Exactly As I Am: Celebrated Women Share Candid Advice with Today’s Girls on What it Takes to Believe in Yourself. She also runs RobinHood Productions, her independent television and digital content production company.
