Serhat Ahmet is a London-born antiques dealer and television personality born in 1973. He comes from a family involved in the antiques trade and is considered a second-generation dealer.

He began working in the industry at just 15 years old, gaining hands-on experience in his family’s antiques business, where he remained for approximately 25 years.

In 2013, Ahmet established his own antiques shop in London, building a reputation as a specialist in European porcelain, particularly pieces dating from 1720 to 1935.

His television career developed through appearances on BBC programmes including Antiques Roadshow (from 2018), Antiques Road Trip, and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

In 2025, he joined Bargain Hunt on BBC One as one of the programme’s newest antiques experts, helping guide contestants at auctions and fairs.
