Sarah Willingham was born on 21 December 1973 in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Her father was a businessman, which influenced her early interest in entrepreneurship and business ventures.

She began her career at a young age, leaving school at 16 to work in the restaurant industry. She later became involved in several hospitality businesses, gaining experience in operations and management.

Willingham went on to invest in and help grow major restaurant brands, including working with companies such as PizzaExpress, Planet Hollywood, and Bombay Bicycle Club. Her expertise in hospitality made her a successful investor.

In 2015, she joined Dragons’ Den on BBC Two as an investor, appearing for two series until 2017. During her time on the show, she invested in various food, drink, and lifestyle businesses.

She lives in the UK with her family and continues to run business ventures while mentoring entrepreneurs.
