Rosie Morton began her journalism career at Scottish Field magazine, which she joined in 2018, working her way up to Chief Sub-Editor by 2020 — a role she holds across both Scottish Field and its whisky-focused sister publication, Cask and Still Magazine.
In 2023, Morton joined the presenting team of Landward, BBC Scotland’s long-running rural affairs programme, alongside Dougie Vipond, Anne McAlpine, Arlene Stuart, Shahbaz Majeed, and Cammy Wilson.
She continues to write for Scottish Field alongside her broadcasting work, covering travel, food, and lifestyle features, including a stay at the Loch Rannoch Hotel & Estate that she described as a retreat from city life.
She is based in Edinburgh, describing herself online as a “Scottish presenter,” “freelance journalist & writer,” “serial foodie,” “dog lover,” and “water baby.”
