Pete Graves

Pete Graves was born on 7 April 1982 in Hexham, Northumberland.He made his TV debut as a freelance sports correspondent on ITV’s North East Tonight in February 2008, and his first national TV appearance came that September, reporting Kevin Keegan’s resignation as Newcastle United manager for ITV Lunchtime News.

Graves joined Sky Sports News as a reporter in February 2009, moving into presenting from June 2009. He first appeared on Sky News in September 2010, and presented his first live Sky Sports football match in March 2011.

He went on to anchor live Premier League football, rugby union, and Currie Cup coverage, and became the regular presenter of the Sky Sports News breakfast show (“Good Morning Sports Fans”), also hosting the Transfer Talk podcast.

On 15 January 2026, it was announced Graves would move to ITV Sport to present Professional Darts Corporation events. He is married to Stephanie and they have three children.
