Naomi Wilkinson was born on 30 June 1976 in Bristol, England. Her parents were wildlife enthusiasts and volunteers, which influenced her lifelong passion for nature and the outdoors.
She began her career in entertainment as a Redcoat at Butlin’s before transitioning into television presenting in 1999. Her early breakthrough came when she joined Channel 5’s Milkshake! in 2000, where she worked as both presenter and producer for over a decade.
Wilkinson later moved to CBBC, where she hosted a wide range of programmes including Marrying Mum and Dad, Live ’n’ Deadly, and Naomi’s Nightmares of Nature. She also presented internationally on PBS Kids shows such as Make Way for Noddy.
She became a regular presenter on Countryfile, a countryside and environmental programme airing on BBC One.
In her personal life, she is married to Mark Stevenson and maintains a relatively private family life while continuing her broadcasting work.
