Michelle Beadle

Profile Overview

Born in Italy on October 23, 1975, Michelle Beadle moved to Texas as a child, where she was raised in Roanoke and Boerne. After high school, she enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin as a pre-law political science student but left after three years, later completing her degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

She began her career as an intern for the San Antonio Spurs, eventually landing reporting roles with Fox Sports Net and TNN. She also worked for the Travel Channel, YES Network, and College Sports Television before joining ESPN on June 1, 2009, as co-host of SportsNation. In 2012, she joined NBC primarily as a host of NBC Sports, where she anchored the network’s studio coverage of the 2012 London Olympics. She also hosted The Crossover and served as a correspondent on Access Hollywood. 

Beadle returned to ESPN in 2014 as the host of SportsNation, later anchoring NBA Countdown and co-hosting Get Up! Since leaving ESPN in 2019, Beadle has continued her broadcasting career as part of the San Antonio Spurs broadcast team and as co-host of the NBA talk show Run It Back on FanDuel TV.
