Michael Bridge is a British sports broadcaster and journalist. He joined Sky Sports in 2008, initially working within one of Sky’s production teams, and built his on-screen career from there.

He gained early recognition for tracking down the story of snooker player Stephen Lee, who later received a 12-year ban for match-fixing. He completed the Sky Sports News NCTJ Diploma in Sports Journalism in 2013, and in 2019 became one of Sky Sports News’s established on-air presenters.

He appears regularly on Sky Sports News and Sky Sports, primarily as one of the network’s leading transfer reporters, and is a founding member of the Good Morning Transfers team. He also hosts the World Darts Championship and World Cup of Pool coverage, presents The Darts Show on Sky Sports Action, and created the associated Darts Show Podcast.

Beyond football, he has reported on major boxing events, including Tyson Fury fights and the historic all-female Claressa Shields vs. Savannah Marshall card in 2022. He previously worked with Tottenham Hotspur presenting their kit launches and club annuals.
