Maxine Dwyer is a UK-based professional cleaner and television presenter, born in September 1965. She built her reputation in the cleaning industry, eventually leading one of the UK’s top extreme cleaning companies.
Her expertise brought her to television, where she became widely known as the “extreme cleaner” on Clean It, Fix It, a BBC One daytime programme launched in 2021. The show features a team of experts helping homeowners transform cluttered or neglected spaces in just one day.
On the series, Dwyer works alongside builder Tommy Walsh and carpenter Asher Edwards, combining deep cleaning with practical home improvements.
Beyond television, she continues to run her cleaning business and promotes practical, affordable cleaning techniques. She keeps her personal and family life largely private.
