Croxall began her broadcasting career in 1991 with work experience at BBC Radio Leicester. She later worked for the regional programme East Midlands Today and then became a presenter and reporter for Newsroom South East and UK Today.

She joined BBC News in 2001, becoming one of the channel’s main presenters. Over the years she has hosted programmes such as World News Today, BBC Weekend News, BBC News at One, and evening bulletins on the BBC News Channel and BBC World News.

She is currently divorced and She lives in Hertfordshire with her two children while continuing her career as a senior BBC news presenter.
