Madelyn Amanda Burke was born on January 31, 1988, in Los Angeles, California. She attended Arizona State University, graduating with a degree in journalism. During her college years, she interned at ESPN and contributed to the Emmy-nominated student production Cronkite NewsWatch Sports: Spring Training 2009. Her first professional role was hosting Runnin’ with the PAC, a nationally televised college football magazine show on Fox Sports Net.

Burke later created and launched LACTV — a daily web-based coverage platform for the Los Angeles Clippers on Clippers.com and NBA.com. She built it into a full-time operation that included travel to NBA China Games in Beijing and Shanghai. Then in 2015, she relocated to New York to help launch FanDuel Insider, a digital fantasy sports platform. 

In 2016, Burke began covering the New York Giants and built a decade-long presence across MSG Network, Giants.com, and WFAN radio, hosting Giants Postgame Live and various pregame and sideline reporting roles. In 2026, ESPN announced her signing as a SportsCenter anchor. She currently anchors SportsCenter @ Night editions and is based at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut.
