Kyle Brandt is an American television host, media personality, and actor. Born on January 24, 1979, in Hinsdale, Illinois, he developed a passion for sports from a young age and was a standout football player in high school. He later attended Princeton University, where he was a three-year starter at running back and a kick returner for the Tigers while majoring in English.
Brandt’s career in media began in 2001 when he was cast on MTV’s The Real World: Chicago. He then ventured into acting, landing the recurring role of Philip Kiriakis on NBC’s Soap Opera Days of Our Lives in 2003. After leaving the soap in 2006, he pivoted to sports media, joining The Jim Rome Show as a producer and writer in 2007 and rising to executive producer by 2009. He also appeared regularly on Rome on CBS Sports Network and produced Jim Rome on Showtime.
In 2016, Kyle Brandt joined NFL Network as one of the four original co-hosts of Good Morning Football. Now the program’s only remaining original host, he is celebrated for his enthusiastic “Angry Runs” segment, viral hype videos, and energetic football analysis. He also hosts Good Morning Football: Overtime on The Roku Channel.
