Catherine “Kit” Hoover is an American television host, sports broadcaster, and journalist. Born on July 29, 1970, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, she attended Marist School, where she competed in track. She later rater graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
Hoover first gained national recognition in 1995 as a cast member on MTV’s reality series Road Rules: USA – The First Adventure. She went on to work as an entertainment reporter for the American Journal, then joined Fox News in 1999 as a correspondent for FOX Files. In 2003, she joined ESPN as co-host of ESPN2’s Cold Pizza, and also covered major events for ESPN, including the 2004 Summer Olympics, two Super Bowls, the NBA Finals, and Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
Kit Hoover joined NBCUniversal in 2010 and became co-host of Access Hollywood Live (now Access Daily) before being named anchor of the flagship Access Hollywood program in 2019. She was formerly married to television producer and strategist Crowley Sullivan and has three children from that marriage.
