Kelly O’Grady is an American broadcast journalist and television host known for her reporting on business, technology, and economic trends. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies and East Asian Studies from Harvard College and, later, an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Before entering journalism, O’Grady worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and on Disney’s Corporate Strategy team, where she contributed to major media and direct-to-consumer streaming initiatives. She began her media career with roles including correspondent and fill-in anchor for the Fox Business Network, where she covered major stories including the regional banking crisis, Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, and the trial of former crypto executive Sam Bankman-Fried.
O’Grady joined CBS News in 2024 as a MoneyWatch correspondent reporting on financial news and economic developments. In 2026, she was named co-host of CBS Saturday Morning and alternates co-hosting CBS News 24/7 Mornings, while also continuing her correspondent reporting across CBS platforms.
