Kelly Choi

Kelly Choi is a multi-Emmy Award–winning American television host, producer, and journalist best known for her work in food, culture, and lifestyle media. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she immigrated to the United States as a young child and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University. 

Early in her career, she worked as a model, winning the Elite Models Look of the Year contest, and served as a VJ for MTV Korea and as an entertainment reporter for the TV Guide Channel. She gained prominence as the host and creator of Eat Out NY, a popular restaurant and dining show on NYC Media, and as host of Secrets of New York, a documentary-style program exploring the hidden history and stories of New York City. 

 In 2009, she hosted Bravo’s Top Chef Masters for its first two seasons. She also hosted Late Night Kung Fu on Fuel TV in 2011 and has served as a judge on Iron Chef America and Worst Cooks in America. In addition, she is a contributing editor to Eat This, Not That! and a published author with Penguin Random House.
