Kamali Melbourne is a British journalist and television presenter born in the United Kingdom in 1980. Details about his parents and upbringing remain private, as he has consistently kept his personal background out of the public domain.

From 2005 to 2006, Kamali attended City, University of London, where he obtained a postgraduate diploma in TV current affairs journalism. He began working in television news at ITV Central in Birmingham, before moving into national and international broadcasting.

He joined the Channel 4 News team and worked as a producer on major stories including the 2010 general election, the 2011 riots, and the Scottish independence referendum. He then spent a year shooting business features around Europe for Bloomberg, before going to Istanbul as an anchor for TRT World. At TRT World he presented a daily programme called NewsFeed.

In December 2021, Kamali returned to the UK to join Sky News as a presenter. His work has included presenting The Early Rundown and Sky News Today, covering major stories including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the resignation of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and the death of Queen Elizabeth II. He currently co-hosts the Mornings with Jones and Melbourne show with Anna Jones.
