Jenny Dell was born in Southbury, Connecticut, on July 26, 1986, and developed a passion for sports from an early age. She attended Pomperaug High School before earning a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008. While at college, she balanced her studies with internships in sports broadcasting, laying the foundation for her journalism career. 

Dell began her television career with ESPN, working behind the scenes before moving into reporting roles with New England Sports Network (NESN). In 2012, she became the network’s Boston Red Sox reporter, covering one of Major League Baseball’s highest-profile franchises, including the team’s 2013 World Series championship season. Her success in Boston led to a national opportunity with CBS Sports, where she has covered college football, the NFL, college basketball, and major championship events.

Today, Dell serves as a college football sideline reporter for CBS Sports and contributes to the network’s NFL coverage. She also appears on CBS Sports Network studio programming and special event broadcasts throughout the year. Known for her engaging interviews, Dell has established herself as one of the leading sideline reporters in American sports television.
