Jenny Campbell was born on 5 October 1961 in Hyde, Cheshire, England. Details about her parents are not widely public, though she developed an early interest in finance and business.
She attended Manchester High School for Girls and left school at 16 to begin working in banking. Starting as a cashier at NatWest, she built a long career in the financial sector, eventually working for the Royal Bank of Scotland in senior roles.
In 2010, Campbell led a management buyout of Hanco ATM Systems from RBS, renaming it YourCash. Under her leadership, the company expanded across Europe and became a successful ATM provider before she sold it in 2016.
She joined Dragons’ Den (BBC Two/BBC One) in 2017 and appeared for two series, investing in several businesses before leaving in 2019 to focus on family and charity work.
Campbell lives in Suffolk with her husband and continues to support business ventures and charitable initiatives while maintaining a private family life.
