Jeff Lewis is an acclaimed interior designer, real estate speculator, and TV personality. He was born on March 24, 1970, in Orange County, California, the eldest of three sons of Tom Lewis, a real estate investor, and Cathe Lewis. He graduated from Chapman University in 1993, after which he launched his career as a licensed real estate salesperson and steadily built a reputation for turning undervalued properties into high-profit sales.
In 2007, Lewis became the star of Bravo’s Flipping Out, which followed his real estate and interior design business across 11 seasons. Bravo then gave him a two-season spinoff, Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis, in 2012. He also hosted Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis on Amazon Freevee in 2022 and competed on HGTV’s The Flip Off in 2025. In 2017, Lewis launched Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy — a five-day-a-week talk show that has become one of the network’s most popular programs.
Beyond TV, Jeff Lewis founded Jeff Lewis Design in 2009, a luxury interior design firm serving high-end clients across Los Angeles. He is the father of daughter Monroe Christine Lewis, born October 25, 2016, via surrogate, whom he co-parents with ex-partner Gage Edward following their 2019 separation.
