Hannah Wilkes was reportedly born in July 1990 in the United Kingdom. She studied at Loughborough University, where she gained early broadcasting experience through student TV (LSUTV), and secured two weeks’ work experience at Sky in 2010 while still a student there.

She joined Sky Sports News in the summer of 2022 after a long internal career path: starting as a runner after graduation, she worked her way up through production roles — including as an Assistant Producer — before moving into on-screen reporting and presenting, becoming a full-time presenter around September 2021.

Wilkes now hosts Sky Sports Breakfast on Sky Sports News (the relaunched version of Good Morning Sports Fans, since August 2025), is a regular face on Transfer Deadline Day coverage, and leads Sky’s coverage of the NFL, The Hundred cricket tournament (since 2023), and the World Nineball Tour.

Within NFL coverage, she has hosted three Super Bowls and Sky’s flagship Sunday broadcasts, plus international games in London, Dublin, and Berlin. She has also fronted children’s sports show Game Changers and presented for talkSPORT, including the 2021 Lions Tour.

Her Instagram bio describes her as “Lily’s mummy,” indicating she has a daughter named Lily.
