Graham Norton was born in Clondalkin, Dublin, Ireland, on 4 April 1963, to William Billy, a Guinness sales representative and Rhoda Walker. He started in stand-up comedy before gaining recognition on television in the 1990s.

He became widely known for his chat shows and comedy work, eventually launching The Graham Norton Show in 2007, which airs on BBC One and features A-list celebrity guests.

Norton also serves as the BBC’s television commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest and has hosted other entertainment series and special events. Beyond TV, he has appeared on BBC Radio 2 and acted in shows like Father Ted.

Graham Norton has been married to his longtome partner Jonathan ‘Jono’ McLeod since 2022. The couple has no children.
