Graeme Stevely was born on 2 June 1988 in Stevenston, North Ayrshire, Scotland, to a mother who worked part-time as a cook at Irvine Central Hospital and a father who worked as a taxi driver. He is the youngest of three children. His mother, Maureen, died in 2017 after a long illness.

He began wrestling as a teenager and became a breakout star of Scottish independent wrestling through Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), later signing with TNA/Impact Wrestling in the US.

Alongside wrestling, Grado built a strong TV and radio career in Scotland, becoming a regular on BBC Scotland sitcoms Scot Squad and Two Doors Down. He currently co-presents Scotland’s Greatest Escape on BBC Scotland, and in August 2025 took over hosting the Heart Scotland Breakfast Show on Heart radio.

He remains based in his hometown of Stevenston, married to Stephanie Stevely, and the couple shares a young daughter.
